What do you sell?
Only cichlids from the Lake Victoria basin, bred at the sanctuary. We do not sell any other species, tanks, food, or supplies.
Why do you sell them?
Our purpose is conservation breeding. We happen to sell some of the fish we breed, because spreading these species across many careful keepers helps protect them.
Are your fish wild-caught?
Our focus is captive breeding, not collecting from the wild. The fish we offer come from our breeding program.
How do I know what I am buying?
Every listing tells you the fish's locale, size, and sex ratio, so you know what you are getting and can keep the line pure.
Can I breed the fish I buy?
Yes, and we encourage it. Keep each species in its own tank and never cross different species, so the lines stay pure.
How are fish shipped?
Overnight, Monday through Wednesday. See Shipping & Arrival for details.
What if my fish arrives dead?
Send us a photo or video within 2 hours of delivery and we will make it right with a credit or a replacement. See Shipping & Arrival.
